Visit the house where Jean-Jacques Rousseau lived between 1762 and 1765 during his exile in Neuchâtel.

The Musée Rousseau evokes Jean-Jacques Rousseau's stay in Môtiers in two of the four upstairs rooms of the house where he spent 3 years in exile.
Discover some 200 original documents divided into 8 stations, recounting his discovery of Switzerland, the late 15th-century building he lived in, the peculiar dress his infirmities led him to adopt, his social relationships and the portrait he offered his public.
