Host Card for Culture, Leisure, and Transport
The Neuchâtel Tourist Card (NTC) is a free host card issued automatically to every person (adult and child) staying for at least one night in a hotel or parahotel establishment (camping, bed & breakfast, vacation apartment & house, and group accommodations) in the canton of Neuchâtel.
The NTC offers you around forty activities and free public transport throughout the canton of Neuchâtel for the entire duration of your stay. Enjoy it!
HOW TO RECEIVE THE IT?
The NTC is issued free of charge and automatically following the reservation of accommodation in the canton of Neuchâtel. It is sent by email 3 days before your arrival and is valid from midnight on your arrival day until midnight on your departure day (up to a maximum of 15 days). All persons in the booking benefit from the NTC advantages.
Ask your host if you have not received it before your arrival!

History, watchmaking, archaeology, fine arts or absinthe: soak up lots of cultural highlights during your stay in Neuchâtel! You get free admission to 31 museums in the Neuchâtel region.
Two cruises, two lakes, two completely different types of scenery! The Neuchâtel Tourist Card gives you access to a cruise on lake Neuchâtel (routes no. 111 / 113 / 115 / 117 / 211 / 213 / 215 / 217 / 311 / 313 / 315 /411 / 412 / 413 / 414 / 415 / 416) and a round trip on lake Les Brenets to admire the Saut du Doubs waterfall. No need to choose, both are included!
In every season, the Buttes – La Robella chairlift offers breathtaking views during its 700-meter ascent! From the top, you can go hiking or descend on a scooter, sled, or skis.
Go for a bike ride along the lake of Neuchâtel or discover the small watchmaking town of Le Locle and its surroundings with a free one-day bike rental in one of the two towns.

Throughout your stay, you can travel for free across the entire public transport network in the canton of Neuchâtel. All journeys by train, bus, tram, and funicular are included.
For the duration of your stay, you can travel free of charge on the entire public transport network of the canton of Neuchâtel. All trips by train, bus, tram and funicular - including the Chaumont funicular - are free with your Neuchâtel Tourist Card.
At about 1171 meters above sea level, above Neuchâtel, Chaumont is the must-visit viewpoint of the Three-Lakes Region and the Alps chain. A trail leads down to Neuchâtel.
