HOW DOES THE NTC-ACTIVITIES WORK?

   
The NTC-Activities is a module of your NTC web app offering over 30 activities to all individuals in your booking at an accommodation in the canton of Neuchâtel. No need to choose: one entry is valid for each activity. Find the complete list of offered activities on this page.

1.
Once you have booked your accommodation, you will receive a separate e-mail from Neuchâtel Tourism with the subject “Neuchâtel Tourist Card” a few days before you are due to arrive;

In the e-mail, click “Go to my NTC” to access the web app, where you will find the QR code. If you would prefer not to use the web app or you don’t have an Internet connection, please print out the QR code in the PDF attached to the e-mail before you travel.

3.
Show the QR code at your chosen activities. The QR code is valid for everyone on your booking. You can copy it or take screenshots of it from the web app.

Please note: You will need access to the Internet in Switzerland to use the web app.

HOW DOES THE NTC-TRANSPORT WORK?

   
To use the NTC-Transport and travel for free within the canton of Neuchâtel, you need to install the FAIRTIQ app and enter a promotional code (PromoCode) generated in your NTC web app. Holders of a Swiss public transport general pass or a Swiss Travel Pass do not need to use the NTC-Transport.
 
Please note: An Internet connection is required. Guests from abroad need to activate their roaming.

Click the "My NTC-Transport" tab in the MyNTC web app.

To get the promo code, click “Request my PromoCode”, enter your surname and first name and click “Request my promo code” again. A 20-character code will appear. To copy the code, click the icon on the left of your screen.

Install the FAIRTIQ app – you can find the Apple Store or Google Store links in the NTC web app.

Open the FAIRTIQ app, enter your mobile phone number and then enter the code received via text message. Please note: Make sure you grant all the permissions needed.

5.
Enter the information and add a valid payment method as a guarantee*. Enter any discount cards you may have.
 
*No charge is applied if you travel in 2nd class within the « ONDE VERTE » zones.

6.
In the FAIRTIQ app, select “Promotions” from the menu, then “Add a new promotion”.

7.
Paste the code obtained in step 2 – it’s ready!


Using FAIRTIQ for a trip

1.
Before starting the trip, add the companions traveling with you by clicking on the “Companions” icon and then on the + sign next to it.
 
2.
Swipe the slider to the right before the vehicle departs. At the end of the trip, swipe the slider to the left.
 
The cost of the trip is displayed. It becomes CHF 0.- overnight if your PromoCode was entered and you remain within the ONDE VERTE fare zone.
