Follow the river Doubs as it snakes along the French-Swiss border, and feast your eyes on the stunningly beautiful countryside.
From the watchmaking city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, you cross the fields to reach the wooded cliffs above the Doubs and its meanders. Half-way along, at L'Escarpineau viewing pulpit, you'll have a matchless view of the Doubs canyon. Then you head downhill to return to the river's banks and the impressive 27 m-high waterfall. You can then choose to continue on foot to Les Brenets or take a ferry to the harbour.
