The former Cantonal Observatory reveals its many facets.
"It's half past noon at the Neuchâtel Chronometric Observatory"! This mythical place has been for years the reference in terms of exact time. Both an astronomical and a chronometric observatory, the magnificent Hirsch Pavilion with its Art Nouveau decor contains some iconic pieces, including the famous Zeiss telescope from 1912 and a seismograph from the 1930s. A place that is both historical and scientific to discover on the heights of the city.
