The Night of Photography reveals the many facets of photography to the general public. On the one hand, it highlights artistic, subjective or meditative photography, which is equivalent to the prose of a novel or essay in the field of writing. On the other, it highlights photojournalism, whose name speaks volumes about its function. Since its inception, the Nuit de la Photo has explored these two photographic currents and their areas of intersection, with no bias as to their respective value.
