The CDN's 25th anniversary celebrations, launched on 21 February in the presence of Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider, will be held throughout the year, including a ‘Valley Festival’ on 21 September organised in conjunction with the Botanical Gardens.
New features include an interactive terminal dedicated to the architecture of Mario Botta and the living quarters of Friedrich Dürrenmatt, as well as a showcase dedicated to the famous play ‘La Visite de la vieille dame’.
In 2025, Dürrenmatt's office will be open on Saturdays and Sundays, and all schools in Switzerland will be free of charge.
Exhibitions on music, football and with young artists as part of an exchange project with the Berlin University of the Arts will punctuate the year.
