A warm greeting ("Grüessech" in the Seeland region or "bonjour" in French-speaking Switzerland) can work wonders. Your hosts will appreciate it and strangers will be pleasantly surprised. This first contact will allow you to establish mutual respect and, who knows, to meet new people!

Pictures and memories are all you are allowed to take with you. Footprints are all you are allowed to leave behind. It is a fact: we want to preserve our beautiful nature, which is one of the greatest assets of our region.
