Our last stage of the Grand Tour connects Saint-Ursanne to Delémont and makes the most of some mountain passes and forests on its way.
This stage starts in Saint-Ursanne where you will find a Grand Tour photo opportunity with an idyllic view of the Doubs, the Saint-Jean bridge and the old town. After a visit to this small medieval town, the itinerary takes a route in the shade of the forest along the road to Montgremay. The fir trees accompany the Grand Tour for a few kilometres before giving way to a breathtaking view of the high plateau once you have passed the Col des Rangiers. The stage ends in the youngest cantonal capital of Switzerland: Delémont.
The Grand Tour then leaves the Jura & Three Lakes region. It continues along the French-Swiss border to Metzerlen in the canton of Solothurn and then to Basel.
