Access to the Tower of Moron no longer possible since 21 May 2022.
Start this 16 km loop in the village of Pontenet in the Tavannes valley. In Loveresse, the view on the landscape is green. The charm of this village lies in its center, where there is a picturesque school with a four-sided clock topped by a bell tower with an octagonal base. Halfway up the hill is the emblematic Tower of Moron (closed), designed by Mario Botta. Built on the Moron mountain range, at an altitude of 1,336 m, it offers a 360° panoramic view. It is true that the view is unique and extends, to the south, beyond the Jura chain and over the Alpine Arc from Säntis to Mont Blanc. In the north, on a clear day, you can see the Vosges and the Black Forest.
