Discover this magnificent region between the deep-blue lake and the verdant vineyards by bicycle.

French and German-speaking Switzerland meet on the shores of Lake Biel - contrasting landscapes as well, with vineyards shaping the land on the one hand and agriculture on the other. Among other things, lovely little winemaking villages await being discovered on the northern shores of Lake Biel and a charming natural shoreline to the south. Numerous places invite you to take a refreshing dip at all cardinal points of the lake.

Good to know

- From Erlach, option to take a tour of St. Peter’s Island (+ 10 km/6 miles).
- The section between Biel and Tüscherz leads along a main road.
- Various construction works are taking place between La Neuveville and Biel, a diversion is signalled. Families with children and/or trailers are advised to return from La Neuveville to Biel by boat or train.
