Riddle fun for the whole family.
Finn the beaver lives in the small town of Aarberg on the old Aare river. Finn has gone on a discovery tour and can't find his way home. Solve the riddles with the help of the digital trail and follow Finn's tracks. When you find him, the whole family will get a reward. During the hike you will learn exciting details about beavers and the region.
The digital riddle trail takes you and your family from Aarberg along the old Aare river to Lyss. On this trail of almost 7 km (duration: approx. 2.5 hours) you will roam through the beautiful floodplain landscape. Many quiet places invite you to linger, play and barbecue. Thanks to the playful posts along the way, you and your whole family will learn many interesting facets about beavers and the area. The riddle trail follows mostly natural paths.
If you succeed in finding the lost beaver Finn, you will receive a reward at the end of the riddle trail (1 reward per registered group/purchased voucher).

- The riddle trail is available all year round, only in German.
- Up until the following hours, the reward can be collected on site: Monday-Friday: 7pm, Saturday: 5pm, Sunday: 4.45pm.
- There are several picnic and play areas along the way. We recommend that you pack a picnic. You can take breaks at any time, there is no time limit for the riddle trail. There are various restaurants and takeaways in Aarberg and Lyss.
- The starting point and finish are not at the same location. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive by public transport. Tickets for the journey can be purchased online.
- The riddle trail is suitable for children from the age of 6 and, apart from a section of stairs, is suitable for strollers.
- All you need to participate is a smartphone with an internet connection. A virtual map guides you to the various tracks of Finn the beaver. Once you are on the right track, the digital content is displayed on the smartphone.
