Bigler is a true Swiss family company, and has stood for tradition and commitment in the butcher’s trade for four generations.

Since the family firm was founded in 1946, Bigler has been very much associated with the Bernese Seeland. As one of the largest employers in the region, Bigler supports a multitude of charitable organisations and events in the surrounding area.

Bigler’s tradition is reflected in its specialities from Seeland, such as Seeland crusted ham, as well as Jura sausages, which were developed in the 1960s and are known as “Seeländerli” today by many who appreciate them.

Besides sausage products and fresh meat, Bigler also produces convenience products. These include sandwiches, salads and canapés.
