Guided visit of astronomical observatory and solar or wind power plants.
This joint offer by the observatory, the solar-powered plants and the wind farms gives visitors the opportunity of studying the sun through an astronomer’s eyes and also as a source of renewable energy. Visitors will visit the observatory for a presentation on various aspects of the sun. Each visitor will be able to observe our star in complete safety through instruments specially designed for observing the sun. Visitors can then choose to end their tour in a wind turbine or in the middle of an array of photo-voltaic panels as the sun plays a vital role in renewable energies, whether generated directly by the sun or by wind.
