Vorbourg Chapel and the castle ruins higher up are situated on an imposing promontory.
From the 11th to the 15th centuries, a feudal castle inhabited by the Telsperg knights stood on a promontory overlooking the Birs gorge between Delémont and Soyhières. Today, only the ruins of the main tower in the upper part, which were recently restored and fortified, the square St-Anne tower and the Notre-Dame du Vorbourg Chapel remain.
