International Chess Festival

The Biel Chess Festival has been held without interruption for over 50 years. There are usually no fewer than ten different tournaments to choose from for all tastes and levels of play at the Kongresshaus in the centre of Biel. More than 700 players meet there every year. This year too, some of the best players in the world will be competing in the famous closed tournament with its attractive triathlon formula.
