This archaeological site can be found on the hill called Jensberg in the municipality of Studen.
Piece by piece, the history of the village of Studen has been discoverd. Today, the temple ruins and Roman gate are preserved. This hill left its mark on the history of the whole region for more than five centuries: with the presence of a Celtic oppidum and a prosperous Roman town considered as the economic and religious centre for the Seeland and region around Biel/Bienne.
