Smithy and edge-tool workshop with over 300 tools. Put on the canton Bern Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

A former grain mill transformed into a taillanderie (forge) in 1791, the Martinet museum houses over 300 tools. In the past, the large water wheel driven by the water of the Gabiatte brook operated three hammers. This forge workshop was the witness of the manufacture of axes, shears, gentian fangs, lombards and picks intended for the farmers, woodcutters and craftsmen of the region. Thus the manufacture of agricultural utensils, the strapping of cart wheels and the making of fences carried on until 1945. Guided tours are accompanied by demonstrations of the working of the forge with the hammer still in use.
