Photoforum Biel

Discover the Photoforum Pasquart - a vibrant centre of contemporary photography in the heart of Switzerland that has been in existence since 1984. Located in Biel/Bienne, a city that unites cultures and languages, the Photoforum offers you the unique opportunity to experience the world from the perspective of contemporary photography. The exhibitions, which range from emerging talents to established artists, celebrate the diversity and vitality of photography.

The Photoforum is housed in the historic Pasquart building, a former hospital, and organises five to seven exhibitions a year. These include both group exhibitions, which explore different perspectives and themes, and solo exhibitions, which often serve as a career springboard for artists. The Photoforum strives to enrich both the local community and visitors from all over Switzerland with inspiring exhibitions that address important social issues and current trends in photography.
