On the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, the beach of Portalban offers an ideal location for a holiday including sports, gastronomy and summer relaxation.

Hot spot for kitesurfing, Portalban, its sandy beach and its camping also provide a beach volleyball pitch, a refreshment bar and the « Salamandre » restaurant, directly on the lakefront.

Good to know

- Access by car: follow Route du Port, the beach is at the end on the left
- Access by public transport: bus from Avenches (bus stop " Portalban, village), continue by foot following the Route du Port until the end
- Access by boat: boats from Estavayer-le-Lac or Neuchâtel
- Parking: Grèves du Lac (2 minutes by foot)
- Parking price: CHF 1.- per hour (weekdays), CHF 1.50.- per hour (weekends), CHF 8.- per day (weekdays), CHF 12.- per day (weekends)
