The cinema has existed since 1923, in the Epancheurs building in La Neuveville. It was founded by Alfred Aquadro. Since 1998, it has survived thanks to the unfailing commitment of sixty volunteers, united in the La Neuveville Cinema Association, as well as to the support and collaboration of the Municipality of La Neuveville.
The cinema, called Ciné2520, lives in the city thanks to the commitment of some sixty volunteers and the generous support of the Municipality.
Ciné2520 is run by a committee of ten people who take care of the strategic development and operational management of the cinema. The committee oversees some sixty cashiers and projectionists who ensure the smooth running of the weekly cinema sessions.
Each year, Ciné2520 offers more than 300 film screenings, with nearly 80 different films.
