Symposium for nature garden enthusiasts: Flower meadows in our gardens
Observation, possibilities, realisation
They have moved away from the image of the weekly perfectly cut English lawn. They allow nature to express itself more authentically. You dream of a colourful flower meadow where many different butterflies dance happily from one nectar plant to another.
Creating a flower meadow and enjoying the colourful flowers of native wild perennials for several years is no easy task. The first step is to clarify the conditions of your lawn. Then there are some very specific implementation tips for a few different types of lawn. Finally, we will show you how to create small ruderal areas for butterfly flora to complement the lawn.
In the morning, after a short introduction, there will be three inputs from natural garden specialists. After lunch together, there will be workshops on the grounds of the Papiliorama on various gardening topics relating to the flower meadow with the experts from Wild & Beautiful and Papiliorama staff.
There will be plenty of time and enough specialists to ask questions about realising the flower meadow in your own garden.
