If you were fascinated by the architectural history of the 1930s during the first tour (ArchitekTour Part 1: Station Quarter), this second tour will immerse you even more deeply in the world of Biel's modernism and allow you to experience its diversity throughout the city. Less homogeneous than in the railway station district, this style can be seen in emblematic buildings such as the double gymnasium of the Marché-Neuf school, the municipal library, the Grand Garage du Jura or the tram stop at Juraplatz. Here, the architectural quality is revealed in subtle details rather than decorative embellishments.

- This tour is mainly aimed at people who have already taken part in the ArchitekTour Part 1: Station Quarter.
- On request and for groups of 6 or more, a private guided tour can be organised through the Beaumont Quarter, where several modernist residential buildings are located. The tour ends on Ländtestrasse at the lido - a national icon of Neues Bauen. Participants should be good walkers.
