The trail leads to the Damassine prune trees, which grow wild and, according to legend, were brought over by crusaders from Damascus a long time ago.
The starting point for the walk is Mormont with its orchard, and then it continues to Châtel-Vouhay, to Courchavon, and back to Mormont. Along the way, there’s a beautiful waterfall over some rocks to admire, and a wine cellar serving regional products to round off the outing.
