A 12km loop hike starting in Sainte-Croix, giving you access to the highest peak in northern Vaud.

The route starts in the direction of Les Praises, then heads towards La Casba and Les Avattes. It continues on to the Petites Roches, an initial viewpoint, then on to the Pierre de la Paix, a place of great energy. A final effort takes the hiker to the summit of Le Chasseron, behind the hotel-restaurant of the same name. From the summit, a wide panorama of Switzerland and France rewards the effort: a view of the Alps, Lake Neuchâtel, Lake Geneva and the plain of Northern Vaud.

The return journey is via La Merlaz and Le Sollier. There are plenty of places to eat and drink along the way.
