Biel Solothurn Theatre and Orchestra

As a multidisciplinary house, it brings together an opera, theatre, concert and dance department. TOBS! performs on a multitude of stages, including the municipal theatres of Biel and Solothurn, the congress centre in Biel and other emblematic venues in the region. With over 300 events and around 70,000 visitors per season, TOBS! is the region's biggest cultural provider.

One of the central elements of TOBS! is the Biel-Solothurn Symphony Orchestra, which delights audiences of all ages with symphonic concerts, chamber music and family concerts. In addition, the Young Theatre of Biel (JTB) and the Young Theatre of Solothurn (JTS) pass on culture to the next generation through their educational theatrical offerings and productions.

A shared cultural experience is at the heart of the TOBS! project, which aims to bring together people of different origins, languages, cultures and generations by creating spaces for encounters and exchanges.
