ROCK-OUT - the salvation of Swiss rock
Cigarette smoke is in the air, freshly tapped beer is held aloft, the leather frock is worn with pride and the classic guitar chords ring through the room - there's a good chance you've turned up at a Rock Out concert. It sounds simple, passionate and down-to-earth, but it is. The four musicians are committed musicians par excellence. Plug in your guitar, count to four with no frills and no frills, and off you go. Rock Out is fervour, dedication, uncompromisingness and a whole lot of soul. Rarely has a Swiss band set the tone so clearly and dedicated itself to good old rock'n'roll. The kind of rock'n'roll that their parents were more likely to celebrate. The kind of music that has been written off a thousand times. And which simply can't be put down. Rock Out have long since entered international terrain and stand with a broad chest for a new generation of young acts that are well-groomed. Powerful, accomplished, energetic and with a lot of self-confidence. And the notorious big balls...

KING ZEBRA:
As luck would have it, four young Zurich natives met rock veteran Eric St. Michaels at the beginning of 2017. Eric grew up in New Jersey, USA, in the golden age of music. In his early years, he was produced and coached by Paul Stanley and is known as the frontman of the band China. With Eric now living in Switzerland, the five boys formed King Zebra. The release of an EP in 2019 put King Zebra on the radar with over 2 million streams for the song Firewalker. The band went on to play festivals such as Rock the Ring and Rock of Ages and opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Uriah Heep and Rose Tattoo, to name but a few.
n 2020, King Zebra headed to Crehate Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden, to create their second album ‘Survivors’ under the accomplished guidance of producer Oscar Nilsson. The collaboration with former Thundermother singer Guernica Mancini on ‘Wall of Confusion’ was well received by fans and critics alike. The album found a home on Golden Robot Records and led to extensive tours throughout Europe.

Now signed to Frontiers Records, King Zebra is ready to present their next masterpiece ‘Between The Shadows’, once again carefully produced by Oscar Nilsson. This album promises a musical journey as well as the dedication, passion and attention to detail that characterises King Zebra's signature sound.
