The Musée du Ski is located in the former restaurant at Le Boéchet train station. The museum is suitable for ski experts and non-skiers alike. Everyone is invited to dive into the history of this sport and follow the story of its evolution, from early beginnings to modern day.
After returning to the origins of skiing on the ground floor, visitors are invited to climb up to the second floor and explore the permanent exhibition. The museum scenography shines a spotlight on some of the collection’s countless pairs of skis, with two timelines showing the evolution of alpine and nordic skiing. You can also explore the sport through different lenses and various cross-cutting themes.
The first floor is reserved for the museum’s temporary exhibitions, which spotlight various themes relating to skiing and society.
