From Estavayer-le-Lac, the Grande Cariçaie Nature Reserve can also be visited on two wheels. Fauna, flora and lakeside Village mark out the "discovery" route.

In the company of a biologist, along the way, cyclists immerse themselves in the fauna and flora of the Grande Cariçaie. After winding through swamps and forests, a picnic stop offers a moment of relaxation and idleness.

A short trip back in time to the lakeside village of Gletterens completes the visit before returning to Estavayer-le-Lac via Chevroux.

This excursion takes place in full respect of the natural reserve's rules, in areas with free access to the public. In order not disturb the fauna and to facilitate its observation, dogs are not welcomed.
