The Congress Centre is the architectural symbol of modern Biel. With its many rooms, it is ideal for events on a national scale, accommodating up to 1,080 people. Whether for conferences, trade fairs, seminars, exhibitions or banquets, this space can be transformed to suit your needs.
It was designed by Max Schlup between 1961 and 1966, then renovated between 2000 and 2002 by Rolf Mühlethaler. Its suspended roof is one of the largest in Europe. As well as being a conference centre, it also houses an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre.
