Recipe: Sweet and sour courgettes
This recipe for sweet and sour courgettes enhances the Seeland vegetables. With its simple preparation and balanced taste, it will add a touch of sweetness to your dishes.
PREPARATION
INGREDIENTS
- 2 kg Courgettes
- 3 Peppers
- 2-3 Large onions
- 5 dl Water
- 5 dl Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Mild curry
- (Pepper)
PREPARATION
Day 1
- Cut the courgettes in half and then into 0.5 cm thick slices/pieces.
- Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into 0.5 cm strips.
- Peel the onions, cut them in half, and slice thinly.
- Place all the vegetables in a container. Add 2-3 tablespoons of salt and mix well.
- Refrigerate overnight and let marinate.
Day 2
- Pour the water, vinegar, sugar, pepper, and curry into a large saucepan.
- While the liquid is boiling, rinse the vegetables well with cold water and drain.
- Cook the vegetables in the broth for 2 minutes.
- Remove the vegetables from the broth and place them into preheated jars.
- Fill with the hot broth and close immediately.
