Les Breuleux looping

"For demanding athletes, there is a memorable route that combines intense effort, fantastic landscapes and a guarantee of solitude... You can ski this 24 km loop in both directions and the tough section will be equally difficult. The recommended starting point is at the Hôtel de la Balance in Les Breuleux. If you are feeling on top of the world and want to make things difficult from the start, you should take the anticlockwise route. The climb to Le Peu-Girard is steady but demanding, though you will appreciate the variety of landscapes. Stop at the summit for a few minutes and, if you like, make a detour to the nearby viewing point. From there, the descent to Le Creux-des-Biches will be an athletic but pleasant experience. When you reach this junction, continue to Le Boéchet, then Le Cerneux-au-Maire and finally Les Bois. After that, the route is varied and wonderful to La Chaux-d'Abel and then the intersection with the Les Breuleux - La Ferrière run. From there, the route is easy to La Combe-à-la-Biche (a nice restaurant) and even easier to Les Breuleux, where the descent will make you feel like a skiing ace."
